Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF)

From 1 July 2026, real estate professionals - including buyer's agents - are regulated under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) as part of the Australian Government's "Tranche 2" reforms. As a reporting entity, we are required to:

  • Verify your identity (Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence) before or during certain property transactions
  • Screen client information against government sanctions and watchlists
  • Report suspicious matters to the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC)
  • Retain relevant client records for a minimum of seven years, as required by law

When you visit our website, we may collect information such as browser type, operating system and referring website, and use cookies to recognise returning visitors and understand how our site is used.
